Milly’s World

Been quite a while since my last blog eh? Well, it ain’t all my fault… partly because my post gets lost the few times I tried to load them. Anyway… hope this works… Had my last checkup some 3-4 weeks back. By then, I gained some 2kgs which is perhaps good? Baby is the correct size and my placenta has gone up. Yippee dippee!!! But that still does not mean I get to have normal delivery… sigh! Anyway, my weighing scale yesterday says 50kgs. Yikes… now this is getting scary!!! But I still don’t look like a 6-month pregnant lady… my tummy isn’t showing much, but I get tired ever so easily (especially in the office… hahaha!). I did get a scare three weeks ago with a fall. Damn that bloody bed in my in-laws house. My dress got stuck on the wood and I fell on all fours with a loud thud! Managed to save the tummy from hitting the floor… but till today, my left hand still can’t function as normal! Went to Dr. Idris just for the sake of checking and everything is fine.

Apart from that we have a new member in our extended family. Anis is now officially our cousin-in-law. Married to my cousin Syamaizar since 5th May 2007. We were in Kuala Kangsar for the akad nikah and just last week at Balik Pulau for the groom’s reception. All in all… let’s just say I get to eat everything on my list!!!

Aiman is now having his school holidays. Loads of homework and mid-year exam is just right after the holiday. I’ll just make him do his homework this week and start on the revision next week. He’s learning quite fast… able to memorise for his spelling test each week within 3 days (5 words per week), and he can read the Mandarin book too! He’s completed the 1st part of Peter and Jane book and will begin Part 2 next term. I’ve taken the liberty to ask him to read the Part 2 book and so far, he can read most of the words. The only thing he’s lazy at is Maths… oh dear!!!
